Advocacy

CEDC’s advocacy position encourages educational and self-help programs which improve the general level of technical skills and abilities of program participants.

CEDC encourages students to learn the practical application of the technical information which they learn in school.  When students learn how a particular subject or discipline is used in everyday life, the subject now has the meaning and relevancy worthy of them taking the time to learn a particular subject.

CEDC encourages the organization of programs which lead to economic independence and which motivates youth and adults to improve the quality of life, security and the property value of their homes and neighborhoods.

CEDC advocates the acceptance of racial, ethnic and class differences and promotes harmony and a cross-cultural exchange between various groups.

CEDC’s community environmental and protective association keeps the public aware of any potential safety and environmental hazards which threaten the quality of life in the community.
